A lifetime thesis of defining Venus through the lens of Desire

Daniella is an interdisciplinary artist, specializing in writing, performance, theatre, photography, and film, who aims to craft narratives that address issues of home, belonging, love, and identity. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where her Grandmother fostered a love of reading and creativity for her at the age of five. Daniella sharpened her critical, creative, and transformative artistic skills at Bard College, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Written Arts.  She wants to break the mold of what it means to be a traditional writer and artist, creating complex and compelling narratives while staying true to her sensual, liberating, and powerful identity. Community work has been an anchor for her motivation in the arts. Between Chicago, New York, and Berlin, Daniella has been an active leader, organizer, and creative, where she leads workshops and discussions based in defining feminine architecture of the past, present, and the future.

Her work is being perfectly curated into a lifetime thesis of defining Venus, The Goddess of Love, through a lens of Desire capital.

“At midnight on September 1st, a rabid storm poured. A girl stood behind a school on fire. As the rain cleansed her body, she played in her hair and laughed. Pleads, prayers, and cries came from the academy. Orange, purple, and green flames reached the windows, creating a vision of prophecy. Nine cats orb the hysterical girl before running off in the distance. Still smiling, Ayanna headed for her escape.”
